The product itself is fantastic — fine grains, natural color, and it really helps keep the humidity stable. My hermit crabs are thriving in it! My only gripe is that the bag was a bit hard to reseal, so I had to transfer the sand to another container to keep it fresh. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.

I love how this aragonite sand naturally provides calcium, which is essential for my hermit crabs’ shell health. It’s soft enough for digging but sturdy enough to keep its shape. I noticed less stress and more frequent shell changes since switching to this substrate. Definitely a must-have if you want your crabs thriving!

The sand looks great in my hermit crab enclosure, and it has a nice natural color. However, it came with some small debris and dust, so I had to rinse it thoroughly before use. Once cleaned, it worked well for my crabs’ burrowing habits. Would be better if it was pre-rinsed.

This aragonite sand is clean and natural, and it really does help with keeping the tank environment stable. I like that it’s chemical-free and doesn’t smell weird. The only downside is that it’s a bit more expensive than some other brands, but considering the quality, I think it’s worth it.

I switched to Aqua Natural Hermit Aragonite Sand after struggling with other substrates, and it’s been a game changer. The texture is just right — fine enough for burrowing but not dusty. Plus, it helps maintain humidity really well. My crabs seem more active and healthy since I made the change. Highly recommend for anyone serious about hermit crab care!
