I bought this a few days ago thinking it was durable being a Kong product and reading the description. It lasted 6 days before developing a hole in the Black “Durable” material. It was not chewed on by our dogs, you can easily tell it is a material flaw. Also, be aware that Kong does not actually make this, and they do not include it in their 60-day Guarantee. I did not know this until I found it on their website as a disclaimer on the Guarantee.

This bed is amazing. It has great quality, and I believe that it will last for a long time. My dog instantly ran over to lay on it when I put it next to the fireplace. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that has a medium size dog.

My dog really likes this bed! I have an 80 pound lab and she loves to lay on the middle part and rest her head on the side fluff / pillow part. Made of good quality, seems very durable and would get another one if needed.

I love Kong products, the front side of the product is super durable, but then my dog decided to flip it over, and I just don’t understand why they make the backside of the item flimsy. Of course we had snow in summer at my home. Thanks Kong, seriously!

I got this dog bed for my elderly dog as it seemed extremely comfortable. Well, it looks like I need to buy two more because my dogs fight over it! It’s also really cute, and isn’t as much of an eye sore as our previous dog beds. This brand is fantastic all around.

We have 2 of these and they have lasted a year so far. We have a 5yr old Boxer and a 6 month old Neapolitan Mastiff. It is big enough for each of them to have their own or sometimes they sleep on the same one. Ours gets washed monthly and they have really held up!

Bought this for a foster dog who needed a soft landing apart from her puppies. The bed looks very good, she took to it right away, and it washed up nicely. All pluses. The bolsters and center section all have separate fillers and, hooray, each section has a zippered insert. Easier than most to remove the inserts and launder. The only downside is that the center filler is not very firm so she was not elevated far off the floor. After laundering, I have elected to add a kennel mat on top of the insert. It will give more support and be easier to remove and wash.

I bought this bed on sale at the store for my 65# pit mix. She still has plenty of room to share it with her 12# shihtzu sister. We haven’t had it for long, so can’t answer how durable it is. It’s extra fluffy and they like the “arm rests” on the sides.

I brought this for a second time. The first time I washed it and ruined the zipper and angered my dog as she tore up the others. So here I am again buying this awesome bed. My 75 lb Lab just loves this bed…for naps and sleeping …she even eats her snacks in this bed. I brought the bed took her for a bath and she had an amazing experience with her new bed. It was so fluffy the material is so durable. Heavy so it’s great materials nothing for her to have allergies to. Don’t hesitate buy today. You will be Pet Parent of the Year!

I bought this last year as a Christmas present to my dogs (it’s October the next year now). The previous one which has the soft middle material on the top of the bumpers/sides still is in fair condition, but I thought they might like a fresh one. They use both. I like it slightly less than the previous version because of the change to the sides. Still a great product. These beds hold up to normal wear and tear including laundry. *I decided to leave a review after seeing the negative ones which I feel are unfair….The original bed is at least 7 years old and has been washed several times (it came with us through three moves).

I purchased the huge bed for my 7 mos. old lab puppy. Within 1 1/2 days the zipper was broke and stuffing falling out. He has had a $15 dog bed since we got him and it is great, just really dirty. My husband and I assumed the KONG name meant a durable (as stated in the title) product, but it is not. I have no idea if PetSmart will even provide a refund for the product.

We had the bed two weeks before our 7 month old puppy destroyed it. Left her alone for 15 minutes with it and she tore it open and pulled the filling out. Even before she got to the insides, she started pulling at the tan sherpa top when we first brought it home. I was hoping the Kong brand would hold up a little better. This bed would be good for a non chewer. Nicely padded, but not super durable.

I purchased this bed to replace the first bed I had for my 12 week old Collie puppy. He is a chewer! This bed has stood up to his sharp little teeth wonderfully. Plus he loves to sleep on it, which helps keep him off the sofa. Very happy with the purchase.

Only one of my two dogs will sleep on this bed. It’s awkwardly full in the middle section, as if it is over-filled with air (maybe it is and I just didn’t read the fine print). But my Great Dane mix finds a way to curl up the the crease between a side bolster and the over-inflated middle section. It just looks awkward. The bolster fabric looks and feels like canvas

I chose the Kong bed due to the high sides looking like a big pillow. My border collie mix has shown a comfort to the bed. It has like an air comfort to form with the body when he lays. I ordered it from the website and did curbside pickup so I was very impressed once I saw in person. It made it so much easier to pickup vs searching around in store for a bed with my bad knee. We are very happy with the quality of the bed and the fact of the waterproof easy wipe sides and soft middle for the body.

Of my 3 rescues, I have one dog who chews EVERYTHING. All toys, and I had cuddle beds she destroyed, so I tried Kong. So far, the little individuals only have small holes (she is determined!) But no stuffing loss. Nearly 2 years, very good condition. The larger bed she is the sole occupier of, well that bed and over 1.5 years of daily use, she FINALLY managed to tear out the stuffing, which was everywhere! (It looked like it exploded! Lol) I replaced it with this one and she can’t seem to get her mouth around the sides so I think it will be some time before I see any damage! Super durable, worth the money. I believe that if your dog isn’t as destructive as mine, it will last MUCH longer.

My dog loves it. He immediately started to lounge and sleep in it. Sometimes uses the raised sides as pillows. He finds it comfortable and the quality is good and durable. The color combination does not show dog hair well which is nice.

Finally! A bed my dog can’t destroy! She has tried to chew through it ( as usual) and this bed has not even gotten a small tear. After months, I think my strong chewer has finally given up destroying and is content with enjoying this comfortable bed. Kong makes such great products!

My 9 month old Lab mix is a chewer, so I searched & read reviews etc…. KONG the name alone sounds strong, right? Not 1 hour after I got the delivery, it’s shredded. Then I make the mistake of calling the 800# for online orders to ensure I can return it to the store…. 1 hour later the kid mumbled something like they’re not even answering me so I guess so. Guess so? $90 freaking dollars & you guess so?!!

My dog can be pretty picky when it came to beds, this was the third I bought her. With all the others, she would sleep next to the bed on the floor. She LOVES this bed. She’s not a chewer, but it has held up remarkably well. Sometimes she will dig in it and it still looks brand new. The outer part comes off and can be thrown in the wash which is also really nice. I also like the look of it.

Any bed is going to fail with a dog that chews. Train your dogs and quit writing bad reviews for a great product. Beds aren’t toys.
