A great first pet reptile for beginners and children!
Spotted Pythons (Antaresia maculosa) are the largest species in the Antaresia family. This species can grow to a length of around 1.3 metres but generally a little smaller. They come from the coastal areas in Queensland and northern New South Wales. This Australian species is popular due to its fairly small size and docile demeanor – prized by keepers due to their good temperaments and wide variety of morphs available within the species.
