I had high hopes, but unfortunately, my canary and society finch barely touch this blend. It might be personal preference, but they seem to just push it around the tray. I ended up mixing it with another brand to get them to eat it. Might work better for others, but not in my case.

I run a small indoor aviary with both finches and canaries, and this blend has been fantastic. It caters to both species well and keeps them active and foraging naturally. I appreciate the natural ingredients and absence of artificial colors. This is now my go-to seed mix.

The mix is decent, and my finches are eating it, but there seems to be a high ratio of tiny millet seeds, which they tend to flick out. I was hoping for a bit more variety in seed size and maybe some additional dried fruits or greens. Still, it’s a good base mix if supplemented.

My canaries love this seed! They started eating right away, and I’ve noticed their feathers are looking glossier. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the packaging—it’s not resealable, which makes storage a bit of a hassle unless you’ve got your own containers. Otherwise, excellent product.

I’ve tried a few different seed blends over the years for my zebra finches and canaries, and this one stands out. The seeds are visibly fresher and cleaner—virtually no dust or husks. I also noticed my birds are picking through less, meaning less waste. They seem more energetic and vocal since switching to this blend. Highly recommend for serious bird owners.
